He also assigned his best people to carry out the work - Juan's workmanship and attention to details were very impressive. From the beginning, Brant was an absolute pleasure to work with. He provided a professional, detailed, and competitive quote for the job, and was quick to respond to any questions I had about the project. He took time to explain every point of the process and kept me updated on each step, often texting or calling just to make sure I knew how the schedule was going, even when he was out of town.The crew that handled the repair and painting worked their tails off on some of the hottest days of the summer. From the prep work (including power washing and scraping), to the carpentry, taping, and actual painting, they were efficient and paid amazing attention to detail. They completed the job while working around our schedule, and even did a great job with the cleanup afterwards. Once they were done, Brant did a walk-around with me to make sure that everything met his standards and my expectations. There were a couple of very minor spots he saw that he wanted to touch up (I would have never noticed them), so after giving the paint a chance to cure, he personally came back out with equipment to get them taken care of.I can't say enough good things about the experience we had with Brant and his crew. We've lived in this house for 34 years and this is the first time we've contracted with a company to paint our house. Ed Brogan, the owner, came out... and estimated the job. He was thorough, told us problem areas he saw, listened to what we wanted, suggested some paint ideas, and sent us a quote within a day or so. The quote was extremely competitive. We made the right decision. The crew, yes crew who have worked together for years, showed up and each person knew exactly what their job. We had workers all around the house doing pressure washing, scrapping, taping, removing shutters and things on exterior walls, etc! Jose, the crew leader, kept us informed of wood rot issues that were found while prepping the house that we didn't know existed. They were real issues. The additional cost to repair the wood rot problems was so much lower than we expected. The walls were fixed with real wood, not some putty or compound and the repaired areas looked great when completed. The house painting itself was fantastic...house, shutters, foundation, gutters, and trim. We could go on and on.
